Eric conducted data analysis for a project evaluating the effectiveness of utility-automated demand response programs that aim to shift peak power loads. He also analyzed the possible existence of sample bias in the participant population. He assisted in assessing the impact of the analyses on pilot program results and helped recommend corrective actions for sample bias.

In addition, Eric collected and screened information of carbon offset options for a leading Internet company.

Eric's work was integral to the pilot program evaluation project and is critical to remaining tasks for the rest of project. His work will help RMI to demonstrate that demand-side resources (i.e., negawatts) are an essential part of a utility resource portfolio.

"Working with RMI was great. Not only was I able to work on interesting and important projects, I worked with Joel, Kitty, and the rest of the RMI Boulder office. These amazing and intelligent people were extremely supportive and developed a great feeling of community."

"It is always a pleasure to work with bright and motivated young professionals. The education happens at both ends, and the Fellows get a chance to work and interact with the peers from other schools such as Duke and Yale."
