Eric Wanless focused on a wide variety of California energy issues during his one-year Fellowship.

Some of his other specific areas of emphasis included: developing the relationship between water conservation and energy savings, incorporating the transportation sector into a potential cap and trade market, and the role of carbon offsets in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions.
