The primary goal of Min’s internship was to research the China component of RMI’s OffGas research project. The short-term goal was to prepare research for a presentation on the future of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in China, and whether efficiency and renewables can lower demand for imported natural gas.

Min’s “Future of LNG” will be presented to RMI’s financial clients in China. The China LNG research will also be used in the international component of RMI’s OffGas report. Her work on the building gas use for California will be a used in the background spreadsheets that compose the demand-side models for the OffGas project. Her Mandarin translations will be posted on the Chinese shell of RMI’s web site.
