Megan is a first-year Masters student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, concentrating in the areas of atmosphere and energy. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island, where she spent most of her life until attending college at Bard College as a physics major. While her main interests fall under renewable energy and sustainable development, she also enjoys volunteering, dancing, and hiking. Megan hopes one day to lead international rural development projects with the goal of deploying appropriate technology while also improving local economies.
