Matt will earn a Master’s degree in Earth Systems with a focus on energy and energy policy. Throughout his career at Stanford, he has focused on renewable energies and sustainable development, especially in the developing world. Through a Stanford in Government fellowship, Matt worked for the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Boston with the climate change and economics team. Matt also worked for a summer at the U.S. Embassy in London. He worked for the embassy’s environmental and economics section, and he spent much of his time analyzing the role of renewable energies in the United Kingdom. Matt is incredibly excited to begin working for the Worldwatch Institute on international energy and climate change issues. In the future, Matt hopes to be able to work with the developing world on energy and sustainability projects.
