MAP (as general partner) has made two program related investments – one in 2004 and one in 2005. We view these investments as grants, though the beneficiaries are early stage/angel round energy companies which we believe have the potential to make major contributions towards a more sustainable energy future in addition to the educational benefits associated with MAP's modest involvement with these firms.

Fiberforge (www.fiberforge.com) is pioneering lightweight, safe, composite autobodies as a prerequisite for hyper-efficient cars. The company invented the Fiberforge process—a process for manufacturing composite autobodies and other lightweight components

SunEdison

SunEdison (www.sunedison.com) is pioneering the financing of photovoltaics for the commercial sector (Whole Foods, Walmart) by simplifying the financing process (including expert understanding of various state and federal subsidies) and minimizing front-end investment costs for the customer.
