The combustion of entire trees for energy generation is currently picking up steam as a potential renewable energy option. Steve explored the climate impacts of whole tree bioenergy. He helped NRDC produce a blog, fact sheet and video to educate policy makers and the public about this issue. Steve also assisted in the development of a spreadsheet tool that will be used to help stakeholders develop quantitative intuition for the whole tree biomass issue.
