MAP's goal is to develop an on-going partnership with top-tier non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focusing on sustainable energy issues for years to come. Our original program, the MAP Sustainable Energy Fellowship program is designed to attract and place qualified students to work directly with NGOs on sustainable energy issues. In addition, MAP seeks to educate and introduce the investment community to the on-going efforts of these NGOs."

NGO Benefits

Through this opportunity NGOs will:

  • Receive incremental financial support.
  • Meet and hire talented new Fellows.

"MAP Fellows are essential to the success of our work. Furthermore, NRDC firmly believes that providing talented young people with the opportunity to get their feet wet by working with a real-world environmental group like ours is essential not only to their own career development, but also to the long-term success of the environmental movement in general."

—Nathanael Greene, NRDC

  • Allow MAP to create a link to or post Fellows' completed reports and publications.
  • Expose Fellows to the broader mission and activities of the organization.

"Interns/Fellows are invaluable at RMI. In fact, they are the biggest reason we are able to do research. The research is critical to keeping our thinking out ahead of the industry."

—Alexis Karolides, RMI
